At the Riverside we use a smart phone mapping app so directions are clear and simple to follow.
Our tried and tested routes incorporating a pub stop for drinks or lunch are simply the perfect way for beginners and those getting back in to cycling to experience a leisurely day out in the countryside.
With both Ebikes and Mountain bikes to choose from we have a route to suit everyone and if you just want to hire a bike and go your own way, no problem!

A popular choice by our customers, the bridleway to Burpham provides peaceful surroundings combined with stunning views across the Arun valley. The George Pub awaits you with great food and hospitality. For a drink stop choose a 2 hour hire, for lunch choose a half day hire. Booking at the George advised.

T he Frankland Arms at Washington
Journey from us at the Riverside past Storrington along the South Downs Way toward Washington where the views across the south downs really are quite special indeed. Classic pub food beckons at the Frankland Arms, a perfect pit stop before your return trip. Choose a half day hire for a quick drink and and full day hire for lunch. T he World's End Pub at Patching
Your route will take you through Wepham Woods and down through the wonderful Angmering Park Estate before arriving for your refreshment stop at the Worlds End. Another traditional cosy English pub with plenty of outside dining space. Your journey back takes in the South Downs way with stunning views across the valley. Leave the Riverside and cycle part away up the South Downs and around the Arun valley before meandering down through Wepham Woods and the beautiful picturesque Angmering Park Estate. At the Riverside we have over 22 smart phone mapped routes that go in all directions from riding the South Downs Way to cycling through beautiful woodland or for the more adventurous, bike trails at Houghton Forest...Whatever you choose to do, we’re certain you’ll have a great time!
