Power Boat Instruction & Certification
Whether you choose to leisurely cruise along the river Arun and experience the breath taking beauty of the South Downs or prefer the excitement of power boating across the open water, RYA training gives you the skills and confidence to safely make the most of your time on the water. As well as courses for recreational boaters, RYA Powerboat Certificates are used by open boat skippers who need to demonstrate their competence in a professional working environment.

Installation and maintenance
Our RYA Qualified Instructors can teach - RYA Level 1 “Start Powerboating” - which will introduce you to basic boat handling techniques, launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer and the use of safety equipment to RYA Level 2 “Powerboat Handling” teaching boat handling and seamanship with a focus on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.
No previous experience is necessary for either course. 8yrs and upward for PB1 12yrs upwards for PB2
